Why Are Capsule Pills Designed in Two Colors?

The two sections of the capsule have exactly the same shape, only different colors. After opening, you will find that their shapes are not the same - one is long, the other is short, and the shorter one has a larger diameter and can be fitted onto the longer one, just like the cap of a pen or thermos bottle.

It is impossible to observe each capsule pill carefully during the mass production process in the factory. For easy differentiation, the most intuitive method is to make the "bottle cap" and "bottle body" different colors.

Some capsules are simply designed to be semi transparent or fully transparent, so that the type and dosage of the medication inside can be directly seen, avoiding "blind box opening accidents".

The size and shape of capsules are basically the same, and pharmaceutical companies cannot produce only one type of pill. Different color combinations can also assist in distinguishing different drugs.

Of course, not all capsules are designed with two different colors, and there are also many with the same color. As long as you can ensure that the medicine is packed correctly.
