How To Store Capsules?

The packaging materials and storage environment, such as temperature, humidity, and storage time, have a significant impact on the quality of capsules.

Generally speaking, capsules should not be stored under high temperature and high humidity conditions. High temperature and humidity (relative humidity>60%) can have adverse effects on capsule formulations, not only causing the capsules to absorb moisture, soften, become sticky, expand, and the contents to clump, but also leading to the growth of microorganisms.

Capsules should not be placed in environments with too low a temperature or too dry, otherwise the capsules may become brittle and fragile. Therefore, it is necessary to choose appropriate packaging containers and storage conditions.

So it is recommended that patients do not take the capsules out of plastic bottles or bubble wrap packaging with low moisture permeability at will. Pay attention to storing the capsules in a dry and cool place below 25 ℃ and with a relative humidity of no more than 45%, and store them in a sealed manner.
